Mona Chawla
Ms. Chawla is a Founding Member to the Firm. She leads the practice on all aspects of business & family immigration, including obtaining employment and investor-based visas for professionals, companies, and businesspersons wishing to relocate to the U.S. or the U.K. Ms. Chawla has extensive legal experience in her field, which includes working for top international law firms in New York and Chicago. She has been published in the New York Law Journal and various trade magazines on immigration matters. She is also called upon by established universities, consulates, and companies to give talks on the current immigration trends. She is regularly published in the Economic Times of India and has been featured in Success Magazine as 'Law's 10 most powerful Asians.' Ms. Chawla is listed in the industry's highly regarded publication, as Who's Who of Corporate Immigration Lawyers.
As a member of the New York Bar and Law Society of England & Wales, Ms. Chawla is admitted to practice law both in the United States and United Kingdom. Ms. Chawla is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, International Bar Association, and British American Business Council.
Born in New Delhi, India, Ms. Chawla has lived in several cities across the globe. She is a dual national and speaks three languages.
Laine Armstrong
Ms. Armstrong is a practising lawyer qualified to practice in New York. She leads her
practice in employment, contracts, litigation and immigration. She focuses on various
aspects of U.S. immigration, managing the foreign relocation process for all her clientele.
She also handles complex matters requiring the advocacy of immigrant rights. Ms.
Armstrong has more than twenty years of experience representing client interests in the
courtroom and in front of various U.S. government agencies for those that wish to immigrate
to the United States.
Ms. Armstrong has been published in various newspapers and magazines highlighting
the various immigration options available for individuals and companies doing business in
the U.S. Ms. Armstrong has a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law in
Manhattan.
She is proficient in Spanish. She is a member of the New York Bar.
Yameena Ansari
Ms. Ansari is a practising lawyer qualified in Canada and India. She is called to the bar in Ontario, Alberta, Northwest Territories, and India. She leads her practice on all aspects of business & family immigration, managing the foreign relocation process for all the international clientele. She also handles asylum claims and litigation arising from refusals. Ms. Ansari has several years of experience representing clients planning their move to Canada, on the basis of investment, skilled work, and setting up in business.
Ms. Ansari has a Juris Doctor from University of Pittsburgh as well as a Juris Doctor from University of Victoria. She started her career at the Canadian Embassy in the Netherlands. Ms Ansari has given lectures and talks at legal conferences. She has been awarded an “Woman Who Inspires” by Canadian Council of Muslim Women.
She is fluent in Russian, French and Hindi.
